The project involves the construction of an urban parking area in the Municipality of Accumoli, in the green area between via Salvator Tommasi and the Mnicipal road of Pacino.
The project consists in the realization of an urban parking aimed at facilitating the use of the historical center of the capital through the stop of private vehicles.
The intent was to preserve the bordering character of the area, a space between the town and the countryside. First of all we tried to reduce the paved surfaces, only the main ramps were paved in asphalt. To harmonize the intervention to the site, it was decided to create part of the parking spaces and motorbikes in protected pockets of the land.
Moreover, on the lower parking lot, the last stretch houses a small stone-paved belvedere.
The project responds to the need to revitalize the historic center, while preserving the identity of the place and its pedestrian vocation.

The construction of the parking lot, in the immediate proximity of the historic core but in a secluded position, allows the use of the ancient village without the contamination of motor vehicles.

Unfortunately, the earthquake of 2016 heavily compromised the territory surrounding the city of Accumoli
