Live and let live is the motto of Liberland.
In four simple words the essence of freedom is described.
As we approach the task to envision a new habitat a question arises: is freedom a concept that applies to the human species only? What about fellow living creatures?
We believe that Liberty shouldn’t be limited to humanity, but it should apply to the whole living kingdom in the attempt to pursue a wider, happier balance in this amazing symbiosis we are living in.
In our race through life, we tend to ignore other species that share the same land we call home. Isn’t the land theirs too?
We need to rethink our way to inhabit the planet.
Liberland may be the first “Park Nation” where humankind’s infrastructures are suspended above the ground to gain a much wider, almost total availability of the land.
This doesn’t mean a ban to private property. On the contrary what we propose is just a shift toward a higher artificial soil, real estate amidst the blue and green.
The Park Nation City, whose model is the typical Italian hilltop village of the middle ages, is going to be erected on suspended city blocks that can be built, owned, sold and eventually replaced and dismantled at the end of their life cycles in exactly the same way that applies to traditional city blocks.
